After reading the articles I found it interesting that there are so many rules in regards to what will make you a good neighbor and what will get you black listed. It sounds awful that there is the risk of getting a grumpy and complaining neighbor or that if somone slips from snow in front of your house you are liable. I hate outdoor work and I do not really care for people either so I would probably be a bad neighbor and just piss everyone off. The idea of quiet hours do seems very intriguing however. I find it sad that Germany has issues with flying their flag and feel that they are not entitled to love their country over a past tragedy but I do see the reasoning behind it, but it is still sad that they perhps feels so "guilty" that they do not feel as if they can have love for their country.
