AMD 4 Melendy

This AMD I decided to go outside of the usual and peruse a favorite of mine for information on anything German.  Reddit has a subreddit for pretty much anything anyone can think of and I found one dedicated to German posts, articles, and comics that bring new light to the culture just like the Kulturs do.  I went through a great majority of the page, but one article that was really interesting was about the new plagiarism cases that were being brought to light.  A group of activists have been going through old doctorate papers and finding evidence of plagiarism in papers that are over 30 years old.  The title of Doctor is held is very high prestige so if your integrity is being challenged and you are in the wrong, life will be changing for you very quickly.  People have proposed a way of getting through this problem though would be to come up with a more universal doctorate process.   Currently most institutions are very independent of each other and processes can vary greatly from place to place.

Here is a comic that was posted.
