Since I'm completely running out of things to write about, I somehow ended up googling German celebrities. As expected, a lot of German celebs are American or famous in America too. I did find out that Cascada is from Germany. If you don't happen to know Cascada, it's a German Eurodance group made up of lead singer Natalie Horler and two DJs. Their biggest hits include "Every time we touch" and "Evacuate the Dance Floor"- both of which make me thing of middle school dances in a gymnasium. I spent quite a bit of time searching for Cascada actually singing in German, but it looks like she mainly sings in English. However, I did find some YouTube videos of her speaking with her German fans, which were kind of interesting to translate. I found out that Cascada is currently competeing for Germany in Eurovision, a European song contest. The song she's competing with is called 'Glorious' and since it's debut in the contest it has been in the top 15 tracks on German iTunes.
Because the song has gotten so popular, lots of people have covered it in German on YouTube. I listened to some, including some awful ones. They will be linked below for your listening pleasure.
