AMD2 Melendy

Being original on this one, aber ich habe Rammstein gehört.  This time I went through the album Reise, Reise.  I listened through the album in its entirety and then chose a few songs to go back and learn the lyrics of and translate what I can before looking up the rest.  The first song I started with was "Ohne dich" which easily translates to "Without you." It was also a good selection because it used both dir and dich and made the practice that we are doing more real.  The song was overall very translatable, with only a few words that I didn't know.  It is about the hurt that a man feels without his special woman and how life pretty much sucks without her.  The other song, "Amerika," was a lot more difficult and easy at the same time.  Some of the song has the lead singer saying "we 're all living in Amerika" and "This is not a love song" which makes the song easier.  The actual German of the song was very challenging and I had trouble finding lines I could translate.
