AMD 3- Gertrude Daly

For my AMD I watched Der König der Löwen (The Lion King) in German. The movie was dubbed, so they had different people voice the characters, so I found it funny.  It was easy to understand because I was familiar with the movie... although I think they took some creative liberty with with song translations.


Some words to know when watching the movie are

Löwenjungen = lions cubs
Warzenschwein = Warthog
Der ewige Kreis = Circle of life (The eternal circle)
Hakuna Matata  is the same.

Kann Es Wirklich Liebe Sein (Can you feel the love tonight) was one of my favorite songs in the english version. It has a different feel in German.... I let you see what you think.
