Letzten Wochenende, I attended die deutsch Oper, Ariadne auf Naxos.  Es war sehr sehr gut!  Es hat Musik  von Richard Strauss.  The music and the acting was amazing! I was even more impressed with the show when I learned that none of the actors spoke German when production began, yet the entire Oper was auf deutsch!  The show was ein wunderbar mix-up of mad slap-stick comedy and serious Oper, it mad for a very interesting show! As a Classics major and a student of German I was very excited to see these two things combined, that is a unique interpretation of the myth of Ariadne in the German language.
