Bargain Buys
The first few paragraphs were completely pointed at Aldi. I know there is a picture of it, but from the description alone it screams Aldi. I find it interesting, if it is true, that employees are not as crazy about cleaning spills. Thats a huge deal breaker in most places since it will lead to a sue crazy person and a huge settlement. I wonder if the act of suing someone is a lot harder in Germany than in America. I like that no one does the bagging. I feel like this should be up to the person buying the "whatever" anyway.
Afternoon Tea in Den USA
It looks like someone is a bit confused about an egg substitute. Twinkie's are an American thing? I guess pecan pies are hard to find in the states.
How not to die...
I feel like passing on the right of anyway is usually considered dangerous. Giving the finger elicits a much more intense response, which is good to note. Yellow does not mean green in Germany. I actually thought turn signals were mandatory in the USA, but never enforced. I admire germans aggressiveness to leaving a car runner. Driving is a bad idea.
What Discipline?
The picture of the two headed snake is pretty neat. Lines sound like holiday lines. Backstabbing, and whispering death threats to the person in front of you. It sounds pretty normal. I would probably get extremely angry if someone was in my bubble of space riding on my leg and trying to advance in front of me. Hulk time.
Studentenermaßigingen
Students getting a subway pass is very normal. Students in NYC, Chicago, and I believe California get subway/bus passes, which usually include some sort of discount depending on the event.
Einkaufen
I really like independent shops. Maybe it's the 9th grade rebel inside me that hates giving my money to "the man" or maybe its just a principle thing. I admire people that own their own stores, and I always shop at those places before bowing down to the big places. Basically, I agree.
Stuttgart
I am not sure if I would ever have the motivation to visit a place like Stuttgart. I am sure its great, but its probably like looking at a brand new 1600's or earlier era city. Maybe if I was interesting in porch, Mercedes or vehicles in general I would put it on my bucket list.
Sports
I have never been a fan of sports, but when I do dabble in it soccer is really the only one besides rugby I can actually get in to. It sounds like a cult nonetheless.
