AMD 1 Melendy

This AMD will be about the Rammstein album Mutter and a few select songs from it.  I listened to the album as a whole first and then then tried to get the gist of a couple songs by listening to them twice then going to the internet if I didn't know the meaning of words or couldn't understand what word they were singing.  The first song Mein Herz Brennt was an easy translation and therefor was what I looked for in the song.  The word unter came up in the song, but it did not refer to the two-way preposition.

The other song I analyzed was Mutter. This song was a lot more complex and difficult to get any gist of.  I managed to understand single words from the song and a line about being on a white hair (auf ein weisses Haar), but other than that I had to see the song in German before I could recognize more words and structure. After I read a translation of the song die to the lack of knowing a great majority of the words, I found out how dark the song was and how that child was motherless.
